The Israeli military launched an airstrike late last night on the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon, southern Lebanon.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health confirmed that at least 14 people were martyred and many others injured in the attack.
Local media reported that a futsal sports hall inside the camp was among the sites struck.
Hours later, the Israeli military claimed the strike targeted a Hamas training facility. Hamas dismissed the allegation, insisting the movement has no training centers in Palestinian refugee camps and that those martyred were ordinary civilians.
