Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, addressing the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) meeting, stated that the country is fully prepared to host the organization’s next summit.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said Azizi stressed ECO’s importance for Afghanistan, noting the country’s strategic position as a regional crossroads. He underscored Afghanistan’s readiness to play an active role in trade and transit projects.

According to the ministry, Afghanistan also gained support from ECO member states during the session in key areas such as trade expansion, transit facilitation, and attracting foreign investment.

The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is a regional platform dedicated to strengthening economic and commercial ties among its ten member countries.
