The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced that Minister Nooruddin Azizi met with Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat on the sidelines of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) summit.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed ways to expand bilateral trade, stressing that the current volume does not reflect the full commercial potential between Afghanistan and Turkey.

According to the ministry, both sides agreed to form a joint working group on trade and investment, with its first session expected in the coming days.

Minister Azizi also invited his Turkish counterpart to visit Kabul to directly explore investment and trade opportunities.
