    Talks Between Afghan and Iranian Officials on Increasing Agricultural Exports to Iran

    Mawlawi Shahabuddin Saqib, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Maryam Jalili Moqaddam, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture, and her accompanying delegation.

    The Ministry of Industry and Commerce stated that the talks focused on expanding exports of cotton and other agricultural products, improving customs and transportation procedures, and raising quality standards.

    Both sides also stressed the importance of continuing negotiations to further strengthen bilateral trade.
