Renowned Baloch religious scholar Maulana Manzoor Ahmed Mengal addressing the Ittehad-ul-Ulema conference, stated that the Pakistani military regime is carrying out mass killings in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan under the pretext of fighting Kharijites.

Referring to Mufti Abdul Rahim’s remarks, in which he supporting the Pakistani military regime, labeled the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan as Kharijites, Mengal sharply criticized him, questioning, what dignity is there for a scholar who remains ignorant of the true meaning and context of Kharijites.

Mengal further stressed that the people of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have risen to protect their honor and property.

He described the security situation in these regions as alarming, saying that after evening prayers, no one can safely leave their homes and that there are certain aspects that cause the issues.

According to Maulana Manzoor Ahmed Mengal, the Pakistani government’s authority is effectively limited to the city of Quetta.
