Shafiullah Afghanzi, General Manager of Publications at the Logar directorate of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, stated that the society has provided cash assistance to 1,300 families repatriated from Pakistan and Iran.

According to officials from the Logar Red Crescent, each family received 17,000 Afghanis, and efforts are underway to extend the assistance to the remaining families.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, emphasized that the returnees are in need of aid and called on both government institutions and international organizations to provide support.

The General Manager of Publications also noted that over 19 million Afghanis had previously been distributed to these families about a month ago.
