    Kabul and Tehran Reach Agreement to Boost Transport via Herat-Khaf Railway

    The Iranian Embassy in Kabul stated that the head of Iran’s railway authority held a meeting with his Afghan counterpart in Kabul.

    According to the embassy, both sides agreed to increase transport through the Herat-Khaf railway.

    According to the agreement, the railway’s transport capacity is projected to reach 1.5 million tonnes in the solar Hijri year 1405.
