    Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs: Kabul Must Develop According to Modern Urban Planning

    Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, today, Tuesday inaugurated the construction of a new flyover in front of the Kabul Governor’s Office, aiming to improve vehicle traffic flow.

    The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Economic Affairs said that Mr. Baradar underscored the urgent need for urban development, effective transportation infrastructure, and organized city planning, stressing that Kabul must expand according to a modern, well-structured urban plan.

    He also praised the Kabul Municipality for addressing this need and making notable advancements in transportation and urban management, calling their efforts commendable.

    The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Economic Affairs reported that the flyover will span 235 meters in length, 18 meters in width, and 6.8 meters in height, with an estimated cost of 462 million Afghanis. The project is expected to be completed within 15 months.
