Kazakh media have reported that a technical-level meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, regarding a potential ministerial-level delegation’s visit to Kabul by the OIC Contact Group.
According to sources, the meeting was attended by Kazakhstan’s Consul General and Permanent Representative to the OIC, Ruslan Kaspanov.
Reports indicate that the meeting discussed drafting an agenda for the delegation’s visit to Kabul, and participating countries agreed on a unified approach for engagement with Afghanistan.
