A small aircraft carrying eight people crashed during flight at Bangor International Airport in the US state of Maine.
According to a report by the New York Post, the incident occurred last night local time.
The US Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation into the crash but has not released any information on the condition of those on board.
The incident comes as severe winter storm warnings have been issued in 20 US states, with adverse weather forcing the cancellation of more than 10,000 flights.
