The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs has announced that, by order of the leadership of the Afghan government, the distribution of cash assistance and wheat has begun for 4,400 returning families in Sar-e Pol and Jowzjan provinces.

According to officials, the assistance package includes five sacks of wheat and 5,000 Afghanis in cash, which will be distributed by a joint delegation from government institutions.

It is worth noting that a similar assistance distribution process had previously been launched for returning refugees in Balkh province as well.
