The Ministry of Public Health announced that, for the first time, a national hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis and treatment has officially opened in the country.
Speaking at the inauguration, Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali stated that specialized training for domestic specialists will soon be launched at the hospital.
He added that necessary reforms are underway to ensure the hospital is equipped with modern facilities and high-quality services.
During event, the Ministry’s Director of Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, said efforts are underway to strengthen healthcare services so that citizens no longer need to travel abroad for treatment.
Meanwhile, European Union representatives attending the ceremony reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing cooperation in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
