    30,000 Afghans to Perform Hajj This Year

    The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs announced at a press conference that Saudi Arabia has allocated 30,000 Hajj quotas for Afghanistan this year. After sustained efforts, the Saudi government has also pledged to increase the quota in the coming years.

    Minister Sheikh Noor Muhammad Saqib stated that the total cost for each pilgrim has been set at 266,400 Afghanis, marking a reduction of 15,690 Afghanis per person compared to last year.

    The total expenditure for this year’s Hajj process is estimated at 7,818,307,200 Afghanis.
