The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, said that Afghanistan is not an easy prey for its enemies, but rather like the Zaqqum tree. He stated that it has made the throats of arrogant empires bitter and that newly born children will never be able to digest it.
He made these remarks today (Sunday) at the graduation ceremony of students of the Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah Defense University.
Mr. Baradar warned that if anyone harbors ill intentions toward Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate will respond accordingly.
