    Fire at Khost City Carpenters’ Market Brought Under Control

    A fire that broke out at the Carpenters’ Market in Khost city has been brought under control by firefighting personnel of the Khost Provincial Police Command, preventing further damage.

    The Khost Provincial Police Command stated that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit, resulting in financial losses of around 70,000 Afghanis, while damages amounting to nearly one million Afghanis were prevented.

    The source added that no casualties were reported as a result of the incident.
