On the sidelines of the Afghanistan–Uzbekistan Trade Connectivity Conference, 25 agreements worth $300 million were signed between Afghan and Uzbek traders.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce stated that the agreements were signed in the sectors of construction, food products, agriculture, furniture, textiles, and pharmaceuticals.
Speaking at the conference, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, said that trade between the two countries is expanding and that both sides are serious about further strengthening their relations.
It is worth noting that the conference was held in Kabul with the participation of senior officials and business representatives from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
