Ariana Afghan Airlines has announced that the company’s aircraft procurement committee held online meetings with the Emirati company (Mars) and the Turkish company (GA Telesis) regarding the purchase of one Airbus-330 and one Boeing-737 aircraft.
According to the company’s press release, the meetings thoroughly reviewed the technical evaluations related to the acquisition of the new aircraft, financial proposals, tender conditions, and compliance with international standards.
Officials stated that the purchase of the new aircraft will enhance Ariana Afghan Airlines’ operational capacity, strengthen flight regularity, and provide safer and higher-quality services to passengers.
