    Construction Work Begins on a Bridge in Herat at a Cost of Nearly 16 Million Afghanis

    The Herat Governor’s Office Media Department has announced that the reconstruction project of the “Khariman” bridge in Zawol district of the province has commenced at a cost of nearly 16 million Afghanis.

    The bridge is 42 meters long and 8 meters wide, and it will be rebuilt at a total cost of 15 million and 700 thousand Afghanis.

    The source added that the contracting company is obligated to complete the project within one year.

    The project is being implemented to facilitate transportation for residents of Zawol district, improve transport services, and reduce traffic-related problems along this route.
