Local sources say that following the killing of Iran’s religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, large-scale and violent protests are still ongoing in various cities of Pakistan, and the number of casualties has risen.
In Gilgit and Skardu, a curfew has been imposed for three days. Ten people have been killed in Karachi, one in Islamabad, and five in Skardu.
In Gilgit, the official number of those killed has not been announced, but some sources have confirmed the deaths of five people, while some Shiite representatives have claimed that seven people have died.
