Commenting on the recent Afghan drone strike on a military facility in Islamabad, leading Pakistani journalist Ahmed Noorani stated that Asim Munir has brought Pakistan to this crisis.

He said the strike disrupted air traffic and that the explosion was heard by hundreds of thousands of people.

Noorani added, “Soon, the regime’s propagandists will appear, insisting that the Islamabad drone strike was only a minor disturbance. It’s laughable that anyone would call the strike minor. As they say, the Kohat drone strike was just as ineffective!”

Referring to Pakistan’s top military official, Asim Munir, Noorani stressed that the country is full of individuals who are hostile to Pakistan, sell their conscience, and pursue personal interests.
