Local security officials told Voice of Hindukush that Afghan forces carried out an ambush yesterday near the Disputed line in the Shonkray area of Sarkano district, Kunar province, targeting Pakistani soldiers.
According to the information, one Pakistani soldier was killed and two others were wounded in the attack.
