Local journalists in Cuba have reported that repeated sounds of explosions have been heard in the country’s capital, Havana.
It has been said that military helicopters are also flying over the skies of Havana.
Sources stated that special forces have been deployed in the city’s streets and are not allowing people to leave their homes.
Images published from Havana show that fires have also broken out in some parts of the city.
