The Minister of Interior, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, has issued directives to provincial officials regarding public safety amid the recent wave of rainfall and flooding in the country.
Mr. Haqqani instructed all governors, police commanders, district governors, and district police commanders to pay serious attention to the security of the people.
He also emphasized that officials must remain continuously informed about the situation of the people in their respective areas and use all available resources to ensure citizens’ safety from flood risks.
It is worth noting that recent floods in several provinces of the country have caused financial losses and some damages.
