    Turkey’s Chargé d’Affaires in Kabul: Turkish Companies Eager to Invest in Afghanistan’s Gold Mines

    The Turkish Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires in Kabul, Sadin Ildiz, met today (Sunday) with the Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri.

    The ministry, in a press release, stated that during the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral resources, and other related topics.

    During the meeting, the Turkish Chargé d’Affaires expressed that Turkish companies are interested in investing in gold and other mineral resources.

    At the same time, the Minister of Mines welcomed the interest of Turkish investors and also invited investment in Afghanistan’s mineral resources, particularly in oil and gas.
