Mawlawi Seddiqullah Quraishi, Information Head of Nangarhar’s Directorate of Information and Culture, stated that heavy rainfall in the province has caused many homes to be submerged.

According to him, residents in some areas are facing serious difficulties due to the recent rains, raising concerns about damage and destruction to their houses.

At the same time, local authorities in Nangarhar told the media that emergency efforts have been launched to rescue people and deliver aid, and relief teams are continuing to be dispatched to affected areas.

It is worth noting that in some parts of Nangarhar, military helicopters have also been deployed to help rescue citizens from floodwaters.
