A New Act of Deception and Hypocrisy; A U.S Crafted Message Pinned on Shehbaz Sharif, Exposing Pakistan to Shame

Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, faced intense criticism on Tuesday after issuing a message urging Donald Trump to halt threats against Iran, with social media users suggesting that the original draft may have been written outside Pakistan, possibly by a U.S. source.

A draft of Sharif’s post, revised just one minute before the final version went live, reportedly carried the note: “Draft – Message of the Prime Minister of Pakistan on X.”

Ryan Grim, founder of the Drop Site news platform, said it is highly unlikely that Sharif wrote the message himself. He pointed out that the prime minister’s staff would rarely refer to him as “the Prime Minister of Pakistan,” indicating the post may have been drafted externally and simply copied and published.

Sharif’s tweet triggered global debate and once again brought Pakistan’s stance in the escalating tensions between Iran and the United States under intense scrutiny.

Meanwhile, several Iranian media activists labeled Pakistan’s ceasefire appeals as hypocritical, warning their officials against placing any trust in these efforts.
