Quraishi Badloon, Head of Information at Nangarhar’s Directorate of Information and Culture, told Voice of Hindukush that last night’s heavy rainfall in the Kami Tarmei area of Shirzad district caused the roof of Azizullah’s house to collapse.

According to reports, seven members of the household, including women and children, were martyred in the collapse.

Over the past two days, heavy rainfall and flooding in Nangarhar have resulted in significant loss of life and property.
