At a time when Pakistan is attempting to take credit for ending tensions and securing a ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States, Donald Trump said in an interview with Associated Press that China played a constructive role in the ceasefire between Iran and the United States.
According to Trump, China encouraged Iran to agree to the ceasefire, as the final deadline, Tuesday, was approaching.
He added that China also tried to ensure that, in the event of a ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States, full attention would be given to Iran’s stockpiles of enriched uranium.
