Trump said he had instructed naval forces to intercept any vessels paying illegal taxes to Iran, warning that such ships would not be allowed to pass safely through maritime routes.
He further stated that the U.S. Navy would block the passage of any vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. President also claimed that American forces would remove any mines placed by Iranian forces in the Strait of Hormuz.
