Local sources report that Afghan forces carried out retaliatory strikes on a Pakistani militia Tank post in the Tambako Sar area of Manora district, Kunar province.
According to the sources, the attacks involved the use of laser-guided weapons, drone aircraft, and mortars.
No details have been provided on casualties among the Pakistani militia.
Earlier this morning, Afghan forces carried out similar retaliatory strikes on another Pakistani militia post along the disputed Durand Line in Dangam district of Kunar province.
Sources added that the posts had been used to launch heavy weapon fires toward residential areas on this side of the disputed Durand Line.
