The Associated Press, citing informed sources, reports that the United States and Iran are close to reaching an agreement on holding a second round of negotiations.

According to the report, the talks could potentially take place next Thursday.

Both sides are currently reviewing the exact timing and location of the meeting, seeking to finalize arrangements before the current ceasefire expires.

The report further states that several countries, including Turkey and Egypt, are actively engaged in mediation efforts to support and facilitate these negotiations.
