Local sources report that Afghan forces carried out overnight heavy-weapon strikes on several Pakistani militia posts along Disputed Durand Line in the Dangam district of Kunar province.

According to the sources, the strikes targeted the positions known as Loy Gorika Tariki, Leity, Soutano, and Danda.

The sources further stated that one of the posts was completely destroyed as a result of the attacks, while the remaining ones sustained partial damage.

They further stated that, last night, those positions had been firing mortars and artillery shells toward villages on the Afghan side of the Disputed line.
