    Bus accident in India-administered Kashmir’s Udhampur District Leaves 20 Dead and 36 Injured

    At least 20 people were killed and 36 others injured after a passenger bus fell into a deep ravine in the Udhampur district of India-administered Kashmir, in a mountainous area near the village of Kannot, according to The Times of India.

    Local authorities said rescue teams reached the site shortly after the incident and transferred the injured to a local hospital in Udhampur for treatment.

    Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, called the incident tragic and directed the relevant authorities to provide immediate assistance to the victims.
