    OIC Stresses Continued Assistance to Afghanistan

    The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)’s Special Envoy, Tariq Ali Bakhit, called for the continuation of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan during a meeting of the Afghanistan Coordination Group.

    He stated that Afghanistan is currently in a critical phase and requires sustained international attention and urgent action.

    Bakhit also called for easing restrictions on banking channels and highlighted the important role of Islamic institutions.

    He stressed that the organization will continue cooperation and dialogue with international stakeholders to strengthen stability and reconstruction in Afghanistan.
