Local sources reported that Yesterday Friday, a car bomb targeted a vehicle carrying Pakistani military personnel in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to initial information, seven soldiers were eliminated in the explosion, leaving the vehicle completely destroyed.
Meanwhile, Ittehad al-Mujahideen Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement, while the military has yet to issue any comment regarding the attack.
It is worth noting that in recent weeks, attacks targeting Pakistani military and security facilities have increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
