Pakistani journalist Muhammad Aslam Awan reacted to the killing of 29 police officers in an attack on a police post in Bannu, noting that Saudi Arabia has condemned the attack, while Pakistani government officials have remained silent.

He stated, “The brotherly country of Saudi Arabia has condemned this incident; however, the Chief Minister of our province, the Governor, the Prime Minister, the President, and national-level leaders of all political parties remain silent out of fear.”

It is worth noting that Ittehad al-Mujahideen carried out an attack on a police post in Bannu the previous day, killing around 29 police officers.
