Iranian media reported that the country’s judiciary executed Abbas Akbari Feyzabadi on Monday morning on charges of waging war and involvement in activities against national security.
Authorities said he played a key role in attacks on government buildings, security centers, and several service institutions during recent protests.
Reports also state that Iran has carried out at least 25 executions in similar cases since February.
