Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that the release of Tehran’s frozen assets remains the final major obstacle in ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States.

A member of Iran’s negotiating team said Tehran has informed Washington that it will not sign any agreement with the United States unless its frozen assets are released.

According to the report, Qatar-mediated negotiations are ongoing to resolve the issue, with some progress reportedly made in this regard.
