U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, that he expects an agreement aimed at ending the ongoing war in the Middle East to be signed today, Sunday.
He added that the Strait of Hormuz would be opened to all countries following the agreement.
However, according to reports from Iranian state media, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the potential agreement would not be signed on Sunday, a position that contradicts Trump’s remarks.
