According to the Fars News Agency, five people, including two children, were injured in a shooting incident in the Brooklyn borough of New York City during celebrations marking the United States’ Independence Day.
The report states that the incident occurred at around 10:35 p.m. local time on Saturday while people were watching a fireworks display.
According to the report, the injured include a seven-year-old child and a five-year-old child. All of the victims survived and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The New York Police Department said the investigation is ongoing, and the exact cause and circumstances of the shooting have not yet been determined.
