Arab Post reports that seven Palestinians were martyred and 20 others injured after an Israeli drone struck a funeral gathering at a camp for displaced people in the Nuseirat area of central Gaza.
Al-Awda Hospital said the martyred and wounded were taken to the hospital from the scene of the attack.
Witnesses noted the strike took place as people had gathered to attend the funeral of a Palestinian who had been martyred in an earlier Israeli attack. According to the witnesses, the drone targeted mourners and people passing by.
Meanwhile, Gaza’s Government Media Office said the Israeli military had martyred more than 25 Palestinians over the past 72 hours by striking funeral gatherings, markets, civilian gatherings, and homes.
The office said the attacks were part of an ongoing campaign of “systematic terrorism” against the people of Gaza.
