Ministry of Public Health spokesperson Sharafat Zaman has stated that the ministry’s Deputy for Food and Drug Affairs has shut down the Hewad Afghan Herbal production factory for violating health regulations.
According to reports, the factory was closed for producing 31 types of illegal and substandard medicines and relocating its premises without official permission.
The ministry says that similar measures against illegal and substandard medicines will continue to protect public health and prevent diseases.
