Afghanistan’s Defense Minister, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, met with Ibrahim Kalin, head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization, and his accompanying delegation at his office, the Ministry of Defense said.
The two sides discussed ways to expand relations between Afghanistan and Turkey, security issues, and regional security and stability, and exchanged views on these matters, according to the ministry.
They also stressed the importance of further strengthening security and defense cooperation between the two countries.
