Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman for the Afghan government, wrote on his X account that three members of a family were martyred and four others injured in Pakistani military regime airstrikes late at night in Nurgal district of Kunar and Barmal district of Paktika.
Fitrat said that at around 3:00 a.m., a civilian home in Patan village of Nurgal district, Kunar, was targeted in an airstrike, completely destroying the house and martyring three members of the family, including a villager named Noor Ahmad. According to him, two women and two children were among those martyred and injured.
Fitrat added that two more airstrikes were carried out in the Rakha and Torkanḍi areas of Barmal district, Paktika, destroying a shop and an unoccupied house. However, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties in those strikes.
