Anadolu Agency, citing Axios and two US officials and a regional source, reported that the United States has sent two additional Patriot missile systems to Saudi Arabia and Qatar amid preparations for possible renewed military operations against Iran.
According to the report, one Patriot system was deployed to Saudi Arabia to protect a major oil facility, while the other was sent to Qatar to protect a major natural gas facility.
The United States is also deploying additional warships, fighter jets and troops to the Middle East, the report said.
