Reuters reported that Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Monday that Russian forces had struck two Ukrainian cargo ships in the Black Sea.
The ministry said Russian forces had also attacked oil storage facilities and other infrastructure at the port of Chornomorsk that were designated to supply Ukraine’s armed forces.
Russia also struck another Ukrainian cargo ship carrying military equipment.
The strikes came as the German chancellor was on an official visit to Ukraine. Russia also launched widespread attacks on Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine.
