The Ministry of Borders, and Tribal Affairs has stated that the ministry’s Deputy Minister for Border Inspections, Mawlawi Enayatullah Shuja’, accompanied by a joint delegation, visited Torghundi Port in Herat Province and assessed its operations.
He held discussions with local officials on coordination, identifying existing problems, and providing better services to the public. Following his assessment of the port’s operations, Shuja praised the efforts and activities of officials but also pointed out some shortcomings.
According to the ministry, the Deputy Minister for Border Inspections visits border provinces to assess the country’s border affairs and the situation along the hypothetical Durand Line, with the aim of identifying the problems faced by local residents and officials and addressing them when necessary.
