    A Drug Dealer Arrested and 16 Addicts Referred for Treatment in Panjshir

    The spokesperson for the Panjshir Provincial Police Headquarters, Haqmal Saeed, stated in a press release that the province’s Counter-Narcotics Department has arrested one drug dealer and gathered 16 addicts from various areas.

    According to Mr. Haqmal’s statement, the arrested addicts have been referred to Panjshir province’s 30-bed hospital for treatment, so that after recovery, they can return to society as healthy and active individuals.

    He added that the drug dealer will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities after investigations.

    At the same time, the province’s Counter-Narcotics Manager, Izharullah Akif, assured that efforts in this area will continue in order to clean society of the scourge of narcotics and reduce drug-related activities to zero.
