The Media Office of the Herat Provincial Governor’s Office said that a factory in Herat’s Industrial Park processes up to 150 tons of tomatoes daily and produces 25 tons of tomato paste.
According to the Herat Provincial Governor’s Office, the factory has provided employment opportunities for 70 people and is one of 13 active factories in Herat involved in the production of tomato paste and jam.
The Governor’s Office said that 13 factories are currently operating in Herat in the production of tomato paste and jam.
