    The Iranian Embassy in Kabul issued a statement announcing that Mohammad Reza Nazari, Head of the Coordination Office at Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Shafiq Azam, Head of Economic Relations at Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    The statement noted that the two officials discussed relations and potential opportunities between Kabul and Tehran.
